Bamboo Grove Hotel

Garden Hotel
The Nanyuan Binguan is built in an unmistakable Chinese style, with green tiled roofs, towers, pavilions and of course, a courtyard garden with picturesque bridges over streams. It is said to have been a villa that once belonged to the Communist leader Chiang Kai Shek, and it’s in the heart of the old town within easy walking distance of many of the sights. Inside there is a business centre, shop, bar, billiard room, beauty salon, sauna and nightclub, and the Lotus Pavilion restaurant, and outside a pool.
Pingjiang Lodge
This is a gorgeous little hotel right in the heart of Suzhou, a classical wooden Chinese building along a story-book old street and which for several hundred years was the home of the Fang family. There are 50 rooms set around different courtyards, so guests can appreciate a traditional Suzhou house, whilst still enjoying modern comforts such as air-conditioning, satellite TV, internet access, tea and coffee making facilities, iron and ironing board. The hotel also has a business centre and internet access. A romantic hideaway, and an authentic taste of old China.
